
Cokeville’s Justin Moyes Surpasses 1,000 Point Milestone
Cokeville senior Justin Moyes joined the 1000-point club last month, as he accomplished the feat in the first game of the 2024-25 season. Moyes scored 20 points in a 70-34 victory over Wind River on Dec. 13, 2024, at the Bridger Valley Tournament in Mountain View. Moyes needed only seven points to reach the milestone.
Moyes is a two-time all-state and all-conference selection at CHS. The senior is a four-year letter-winner and three-year starter for the Panthers. He was recognized in a ceremony at a home game on Dec. 19, 2024. Moyes is averaging 14.2 points per game and shooting 40 percent from the field this season. The senior adds 3.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. He shoots 74 percent at the charity stripe. Moyes has led Cokeville in scoring six times this season. He leads the Panthers in made and attempted 2-point field goals and free throws this year. Cokeville is off to an 8-2 start this season.
As a junior, Moyes averaged 17.2 points per game and shot 43 percent in the 2023-24 season. He added 4.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. Moyes helped Cokeville win the 1A West Regional and place third at the 1A boys basketball state tournament. In his sophomore season, Justin averaged 14.6 points per game and helped the Panthers reach the 1A basketball state tournament.
Moyes has played football and ran track at Cokeville High School. He helped the Panthers to a 2A runner-up finish in the 2024 football season.
