The Douglas girls basketball team has been unstoppable this season with 17 wins in 17 games. The Bearcats made quick work of Buffalo on Thursday night 72-22 and led the game 56-15 at halftime. It was a running clock for the entire 2nd half and Douglas was led in scoring by senior Allyson Fertig who threw in 24 points. She also went over the 1700 point mark in her prep career and over 1100 rebounds. Fertig is also the all-time girl's state leader in field goals with 769. At 6-5, she can be literally unguardable.

Joslin Igo chipped in 14 with Kamdynn Townsend contributing 13. Buffalo is 5-10 on the year and they were led in scoring by Danica Boyce with 10. We have some highlights to share with you from Thursday night in Converse County. Take a look!
