Cheyenne Central basketball player Lawson Lovering made it official on Wednesday, signing his letter of intent to play basketball at the University of Colorado in Boulder. The 7 footer center averaged 13 points and 8 rebounds per game this past season for the Indians and threw in 15 points along with 6 boards per game in the 2018-19 season.

Lovering is currently the #56 recruit in the nation according to Rivals.com and the 9th rated center. He has attended big man camps in the past and has played club basketball at the Exum Elites based in Salt Lake City,

Lovering verbally committed to CU in 2019 and reportedly received offers from Wyoming, Colorado State, Boise State, San Diego State, and Baylor.
