Cheyenne Central’s Kelsey Basart Signs with Hastings College

Cheyenne Central basketball player Kelsey Basart will be headed to the state of Nebraska to continue her career at Hastings College. She started her prep career in Loveland, Colorado, averaging in double figures and brought that same ability level to Cheyenne Central. So far this year, she is averaging 12 points a game with a season-high 16 against Cheyenne South.

A year ago, she was named 4A all-conference while averaging 10 points a game and shooting 50% from the floor. Hastings College is an NAIA institution that competes in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
