The final WyoPreps.com Coaches and Media Football Poll features two newly ranked teams and changes in three of the five classifications.

The adjustments come in Class 4A, Class 2A, and in Class 1A 6-Man. Classes 3A and 1A remain unchanged.

The No. 1 ranked teams heading into the playoffs are Thunder Basin, Star Valley, Mountain View, Big Horn, and Little Snake River. This is the sixth consecutive week those five remain at the top of their respective classification. Three of them are also unanimous choices for No. 1.

In Class 4A, Thunder Basin is still the only pick for the top position. The Bolts received all 16 first-place votes in the final poll. Sheridan is still the choice at No. 2 and garnered all but one second-place vote in the balloting. Cheyenne Central continues its late-season surge and moved up for a second straight week. The Indians are third. That drops Cheyenne East to No. 4, while Natrona County holds at fifth. The rankings follow the seeding for the upcoming playoffs.

The Star Valley Braves remain a unanimous pick for the No. 1 in Class 3A. The Braves have been atop the rankings all season long. Cody holds at No. 2 with all but two second-place votes. Jackson remains third with Lander fourth and Powell rounding out the top five. It’s the third consecutive week the top five has been in this order.

It continues to be Mountain View and Buffalo in a tight race for No. 1 and No. 2. Three points separate the Buffaloes and Bison. Mountain View holds the top spot, while Buffalo is second. Burns pushes up to No. 3 in the final poll after their victory over Thermopolis. That puts the Bobcats in fourth in the last rankings of 2019. The Lyman Eagles jump back into the top five for the first time since Week 3. They are at No. 5.

Class 1A is the other division with no movement this week. Heading into the first round of the playoffs, the Big Horn Rams are close to a unanimous pick for first. The Rams earned all but one first-place vote. Upton-Sundance is second again. They are followed by Cokeville, Southeast, and Wright to round out the top five.

The top four remain the same in 6-Man. The new team to the rankings is Burlington. The Huskies are fifth in the final rankings. They haven’t been ranked since the preseason poll back in August. Little Snake River is a unanimous selection for No. 1. The H.E.M. Miners are unanimous for the second position, while Hulett is one vote shy of being a unanimous choice for No. 3.
