Friday Lights, Playoff Nights: The Battle for Laramie Begins

Time for playoff football! The road to Laramie begins with first-round playoff games after eight or nine weeks of action on the gridiron. Games are set in all five classes after the Week 8 games finished on Saturday. There was one coin flip for the third and fourth seeds in the 1A 6-man South Conference. Since those were finalized, the run toward the state championships can start. The three weeks of the postseason play will conclude with five state champions crowned at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie on November 14 and 15, 2025. Here are the 20 first-round or quarterfinal playoff games in Wyoming high school football.

The games will take place on Friday, October 31 (Halloween) unless schools mutually agree to move the date. The seed number is in parentheses. Home teams are listed first. WyoPreps will post the game times and days when we receive them.
