The 2024 Wyoming High School Golf State Championships are on Friday and Saturday in Afton, Rawlins, and Sheridan. WyoPreps visited with the three hosting head coaches for insight into what to expect in all three classifications. We discussed preparations to host, how the golf courses will be set up for high school players to play, the challenges that players will face, and a breakdown of each classification.

We begin our preview with Class 2A. WyoPreps spoke with Big Horn head coach Lamont Clabaugh about co-hosting with the Tongue River Eagles at Kendrick Golf Course in Sheridan.

Next, in Class 3A, WyoPreps chatted with Rawlins’ head coach Keishah Edwards about the Rochelle Ranch Golf Course.

Finally, we venture to Afton for the Class 4A finale and our conversation with Star Valley head coach Kelly Fullmer to preview the Valli Vu Golf Course.

It will be 36 holes of medal play. The first round is on Friday, and the final round is on Saturday. Good luck to all the players and teams!
