Little Snake River Cruises Into 6-Man Championship

Little Snake River has been the team to beat in 1A 6-Man football and the defending state champs manhandled Encampment in their semi-final round playoff game 71-8. The Rattlers were without of their star running backs in Kannadis Peroulis but Hadley Myers picked up the slack with 331 yards rushing on 24 carries with 5 touchdowns. Those TD runs covered 17,27, 45, 55, and 70 yards so he had a lot of room to roam. Myers also caught a couple of TD passes that covered 31 and 49 yards for good measure. Seth Maxon had a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown. On defense, LSR's David Hernandez had 4 tackles for loss and Bridger Cozzens had a fumble return for a score.

Little Snake River at 10-0 will be looking for another state title when they take on 9-1 Burlington in the 1A 6-Man championship game which will be Saturday at 10 am at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie.
