Meeteetse Wraps Up 6 Man Playoff Spot Defeating Farson-Eden
In 1A 6 man football, Meeteetse climbed above the .500 mark on Saturday with a 50-22 win over Farson-Eden. The Longhorns had lost their two previous games and received another superlative game from quarterback Dace Bennett who threw for 158 yards and a touchdown plus he ran for 131 yards and two TD's
The Meeteetse defense also did a nice job with 5 interceptions on the day, including two by Kalvin Erickson. This team has all the tools to beat anybody and will be a tough opponent in the postseason. The Longhorns are 4-3 overall and have secured the #3 seed from the West.
