Cheyenne Central quarterback Dawson Macleary has committed to play football at Division II Minot State in North Dakota. This past season, he threw 31 touchdown passes for the Indians with 14 interceptions. Macleary completed 59.7% of his passes and threw for 2621 yards, averaging 238 per game through the air. His passing efficiency was 140.4 and also ran for a couple of TD's. He did all this with major knee issues throughout the season.

Macleary was selected to the 4A all-state team twice in his career and Central went 7-4 this past season and advanced to the semi-final round of the playoffs.
