Three-time defending champion Douglas takes over the top spot in 3A by three points in the voting. Both the Bearcats and the Lyman Eagles received nine first-place votes. The difference was one more second-place vote for Douglas. Lyman drops only one spot to second. The next three teams are the same with Mountain View in third, followed by Pinedale and Lander to round out the top five.

In 1A, Upton’s head-to-head win last weekend over Cokeville has lifted the Bobcats to the top position. Upton received all but two first-place votes. The Panthers fall only to second. Southeast and Little Snake River remain third and fourth, respectively. There is a new team that debuts in the 1A poll, and it’s the Burlington Huskies at No. 5.

Class 4A has the same top three teams. Cheyenne East is a near-unanimous choice for No.1 with 16 of the 18 votes for first. Cody and Natrona County remained second and third. Thunder Basin received the other two first-place votes. The Bolts move up one spot to fourth, which pushes Sheridan to fifth.

Finally, in Class 2A, Wyoming Indian is one vote away from being a unanimous pick for first. The Chiefs received 10 of the 11 first-place votes. Moorcroft stays at No. 2. Rocky Mountain moves to third, which pushes Sundance down to fourth. Glenrock hangs onto the fifth spot.
