Needless to say, Sheridan has been very proficient in football this season and displayed their skills once again on Friday as they blanked Cheyenne Central 41-0 at Riske Field. Sheridan took over from the beginning with an 8-yard run for a touchdown from quarterback Ty Gilbertson and Gilbertson also kicked a field goal in that first quarter so the Broncs led 10-0 after one.

In the 2nd quarter, Gilbertson threw a 13-yard TD pass to Beck Haswell and kicked another field goal so Sheridan was up 20-0 at the halftime intermission. Gilbertson continued to have the hot hand in the 3rd quarter as he found Breck Reed for 62 yards and a score to bump the lead to 27. Garrett Way had a 31-yard run to the house in the 4th quarter and Rudy Green returned a fumble for a TD

Sheridan is 6 for 6 with 37 wins in a row and will host Rock Springs this week. Central at 1-5 is in danger of missing the 4A playoffs and will take on cross-town rival Cheyenne East this Friday.
