Shoshoni Earns Quality Win Over Rocky Mountain

Shoshoni and Rocky Mountain are absolutely two playoff contenders in 1A 9 man football this year and Shoshoni has the early edge after a 27-10 win over Rocky on Friday in Cowley. Shoshoni running back Pehton Truemper had 130 yards rushing and two touchdowns. The Grizzlies mustered a Collin Haslem touchdown and a field goal.

Both teams have to replace some significant contributors from a year ago but both teams figure to be the best in the West for 2021. 1A 9 man is strong in the East so the Wranglers and Grizz will have to make a name for themselves as the season goes in.
