Little Snake River senior Landon Prestrud has signed his letter of intent to play basketball and run track at Southwestern Christian University in Oklahoma.

Prestrud is a four-year letterman for the Rattlers on the basketball court. He averaged 5.8 points and 4.6 rebounds per game during his senior season and earned all-conference honors. He helped Little Snake River to an overall record of 9-12. The team finished second in the Class 1A Southwest Quadrant with a 5-3 record.

As a junior, Prestrud averaged 7.1 points and a team-high 8.4 rebounds per game. He was limited to only three games his sophomore season. In his freshman campaign, Landon averaged 3.9 points and 3 rebounds per game in the 2018-19 season.

Prestrud qualified for the Class 1A state track meet in three individual events in 2021. He ran the 200 and 400 meters and threw the discus. Prestrud also ran on the Rattlers’ 4x4x00 meter relay. His senior year of track and field is presently going on.

Southwestern Christian University is in Bethany, OK. The Eagles compete at the NAIA level of collegiate athletics.
