Southeast Pounds Guernsey-Sunrise for 4th Win in a Row
The Southeast Cyclones have been on a roll lately as they have won their last 4 games and really took it to Guernsey-Sunrise 69-6 over the weekend. The Cyclones found the end zone 5 times in the first quarter alone as Wyatt Campbell had 2 rushing touchdowns that covered 23 and 30 yards respectively. Ayden Desmond had a 21-yard run score in the opening quarter and also threw a TD pass to Austin Short. Desmond also tosses a 20-yard pass in quarter #1 to give Southeast a 35-point lead.
In the 2nd quarter, Short returned not one but 2 punts for touchdowns and Campell had a 53-yard gallop to the end zone. Guernsey did find the end zone themselves with a 1-yard plunge from Kolten Weinkauf. Campbell recorded his 4th touchdown of the game in the 3rd quarter and Cole Sauer hit paydirt in the 4th quarter.
Southeast is 4-1 and will have a huge home game in Yoder on Friday against #4 Lingle-Fort Laramie. Guernsey has a Thursday game vs. Wright. We have some excellent images to share with you from that Southeast-Guernsey game, compliments of Dirt Road Wife Photography. They can be found in our gallery below. Enjoy!!
