Defending 3a state champion star valley took on another out of state opponent after a season-opening win last week, as they took on Blackfoot, Idaho. Star Valley scored first thanks to their star running back RJ Cazier who plunged in from the 1-yard line to put the braves on the board 7-0.

The Star Valley defense had something to say as Bryson Jenkins came up with an interception return for a touchdown so the braves were in very good shape leading 14-0

And it got better for star valley thanks to Dean Shaw. He had a 2 touchdowns runs on 18 and 28 yards to put the braves up by 28. Blackfoot did come up with a couple of 4th quarter touchdowns of their own but star valley improves to 2-0 with a 28-14 win over Blackfoot Idaho, The Braves will host Sugar Salem, Idaho this Friday.
