Natrona marched to the 2nd consecutive state title in wrestling on Saturday with 5 champions. At 145 pounds, Billy Brenton stopped Cael Porter from Thunder Basin 6-3, Brenton took 5th place at state at 138 a year ago and posted a record of 47-5 this season. Porter turned in a solid season as well with a mark of 35-9. Evanston's Brady Roberts placed 3rd and Brian Mead of Cheyenne East was 4th.

In 3A, defending state champion Colton Gehlhausen ran into a buzzsaw in Rylan Wehr of Douglas. Wehr ended up with a first-period pin to win the title and finished with a record of 49-9. Gehlhausen who won a state title last season at 132 wrapped up the season with a mark of 36-6. The 3A 3rd place finisher was Jacob Guild of Star Valley with Adrian Archer of Buffalo 4th.

Finally in 2A, the Kemmerer train kept rolling as Riggin Walker won a state title with a tight 4-1 win over Garrett Reece of Cokeville. Riggin's older brother Hayden was a 3-time state champion so there's some talent in that family tree. Walker had a record of 39-5 with one more prep season to go. Reece completed the year at 23-13.  Jackson Hanusa of Rocky Mountain took 3rd and Jacob Anderson of Moorcroft was 4th,
