We have reached the last week of the 2024 prep-level tennis season. Regionals happened last week in Green River and Casper, hosted by Natrona County. Cody, Kelly Walsh, Sheridan, and Cheyenne Central were the schools that won their respective regionals. Let's quickly recap what happened last weekend.

There was a tie for first place on the girls' side between Cody and Kelly Walsh at the North Regional. The Fillies had 2 first-place finishes (#2 singles and #1 doubles), and the Trojans had their No. 2 doubles team take first. Sheridan won the boys with 3 first-place victories at No. 1 singles, No. 2 doubles, and No. 3 doubles.

The South Regional was won by Cheyenne Central girls and boys. The girls won all 5 positions and will be the top seed in every bracket at state. On the boys' side, the Indians were champions in 4 of the 5 spots. The exception was at No. 1 singles, which was won by Paulo Mellizo of Laramie.
