Thunder Basin Boys Basketball Postgame Remarks

Thunder Basin has come a long way since its first season 5 years ago. Last season, they lost in the 4A State Championship game to Cheyenne Central but the Bolts atoned for that with a victory over Cheyenne East to win their school's first state title in boys basketball.

The process towards a state championship started slowly but gained momentum by year 3 and then a title in year 5. The Bolts have some serious talent including Deegan Williams who can do it all and then some.

We talked with Williams, his teammate McKale Holte and his head coach (also his dad) Rory Williams after that win over East on Saturday at the Ford Center in Casper.
