Tongue River Defeats Glenrock, Misses Postseason.

The Tongue River Eagles needed a win over Glenrock on Friday and plenty of help in order to get to the 2A playoffs. Upton-Sundance and Wheatland helped the Eagles out but Tongue also needed Burns to upset Torrington and that didn't happen.

In that game on Friday, Glenrock returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, and then the Eagles took over after that. They moved methodically down the field consistently in the first half and Glenrock never could catch up.

Eagles quarterback Eli Cummins had a solid game as he accounted for five touchdowns, 3 running the football and two throwing the football. Tongue River wraps up the season at 5-4 overall and 3-4 in conference play. and last made the playoffs in 2016. Glenrock endured a 2-7 campaign had their last playoff appearance was in 2018.
