The annual Wiseman Track Meet was held in Torrington on Friday with some breezy conditions and a weather delay thrown in. For the girls, the star of the show was Cheyenne East freshman Talia Morris. She won the 100-meter dash in 12.31, the 200 in 25.98, the long jump with a leap of 18-7, and the triple jump, going 36-8. You don't see too many meets in which there was a 40 point winner but Morris was spectacular. In the rest of the girl's sprints, Sydney Morrill of Cheyenne Central took the 400 in 59.98.

In the girl's hurdle races, Madison Baillie of Central took the tape in the 100 in 16.51 while Kaydince Groth of Cheyenne South ran 46.71 to win the 300. In the distance races for the ladies, Laramie senior Libby Berryhill took the 800 in 2.21.09, Sydney Morrill won the 1600 meters, and her 2nd event of the meet in 5.17.65 with Kaya Pillivant of Central placing first in the 3200 meters in 11.54.85. In the girl's relay events, Laramie won the 4x100, Cheyenne South the 4x400, Central the 4x800, and Douglas the 1600 medley.

In the rest of the field events for the girl's, Kamdynn Townsend cleared 5-6 to win the high jump, Central's Kalea Reisdorfer went 10-3 to win the pole vault, Allyson Fertig of Douglas won the shot put with a toss of 43 feet 1 inch and also won the discus with a throw fo 113-9. In the girl's team standings, Central was first with 144 points, East 2nd with 121, and Laramie 3rd with 97.33.

On the boy's side, Kaliff Guervara of Cheyenne East had quite a meet with victories in the 100, the long jump, and the triple jump. He took the tape in the 100 in 11.52 narrowly and tied Will Monger of Cheyenne Central. You don't see that every day.  Guevara won the long jump in 21-3 and leaped 47-2.25 to take the triple jump. In the rest of the sprint events, Will Monger of Central took 1st in the 200 in 22.96 with his teammate A.J. Legerski placing first in the 400 in 52.13. Kaden Bauersachs of Douglas ran 16.55 to win the 110 hurdles while Keltan Ewing of Douglas won the 300 in 41.40. In the relays, East won the 4x100, the 4x400, the 4x800 with Laramie winning the 1600 medley. Over in the distance races, Tristan Knueppel of Central won the 800 and the 1600 meters with a time of 2.04.74 in the 800 and 4.33.03 in the mile. Laramie sophomore Nathan Martin took the 3200 in 10.41.99.

In the rest of the boy's field events, Kaden Bauersachs of Douglas won the high jump at 6-2 and  Laramie's Aidan Morris cleared 14 feet even to win the pole vault. In the throwing events, Trey Bower of East threw 47-6.5 to win the shot put with Wade Pollack of Burns taking the discus with a toss of 138-3. In the boy's team standings, Cheyenne East rang up 153 points, Cheyenne Central 130 and Laramie 106.
