In Class 1A 11 man Upton Sundance met Shoshoni on Friday afternoon in Casper in a battle between 2 teams that were headed to the playoffs. This game was all Upton-Sundance as they put 2 touchdowns on the scoreboard in the opening quarter of play. The first one was a 1 yard run from Brad Kruger and the other was turned in by Jayden Caylor on a 5-yard run.

The Patriots tacked on another touchdown on an interception return from Jess Claycomb and Claycomb wasn’t finished. In the 3rd quarter, he caught a 26-yard touchdown pass and had a 6 yard TD run. In between that, Craig Chandler recovered a fumble for a touchdown, so after 3 quarters of play, Upton Sundance had a 41 point lead

Jayden Caylor added a 4th quarter touchdown as well as Eli Jones as U-S downs Shoshoni 54-0. Upton Sundance went 8-1 during the regular season and will have a home playoff game on Friday against Rocky Mountain.  Shoshoni went 4-4 in the regular season and they get a home playoff game too, playing host to Southeast on Friday.
