Hanna Hill from Thermopolis Signs for Volleyball at Dickinson State

Thermopolis senior Hanna Hill will take her talents to the next level after signing with Dickinson State University for volleyball. Hill was a three-year starter for the Bobcats on the volleyball court. She was a two-time all-conference selection (once in 3A) and earned all-region and all-state honors in the 2024 season.

Last fall, Hill led Thermopolis with 223 digs, a serving rating of 2.23, and a serve/receive rating of 2.34. She played libero and outside hitter during her Bobcats career. Her team finished 15-18 in the 2024 season. They finished third in the 2A Northwest Conference, second at the 2A West Regional Tournament, and went 1-2 at the 2A volleyball state championships.

Thermopolis head coach Shannon Hill said, “Hanna Hill has been a great leader and asset to our volleyball program for the past 4 years. Daily, she showed her dedication and passion for the sport through her hard work and consistency at practice. She led our team in multiple positions throughout her career, and her volleyball IQ was apparent in all her skills.”

Hill also played basketball at THS. She earned all-conference honors during her senior season and helped the Bobcats take third place at the 2025 Class 2A state tournament.

She also participated in FFA, National Honors Society, and Sources of Strength. Hill maintained a 4.4 GPA.

Dickinson State University is in Dickinson, ND. The Blue Hawks are members of the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) conference and compete at the NAIA level of collegiate sports.
