There's no doubt that the ladies on the North Basketball team will be competitive in Saturday's Wyoming Coaches Association All-Star Game in Casper. Newcastle's Jaylen Ostenson is a four-time all-state selection and her Dogie teams went 42-10 over the past 2 seasons. Cody's Kennedi Niemann has been named all-state 3 times and her Filly team won the 4A state championship back in March. They were 49-1 over the last 2 years.

In addition to those two, Kelsi Nicholson of Burlington has made all-state 3 times with Newcastle's Shelby Tidyman and Thunder Basin's Laney McCarty are two-time all-state picks.

The talent is there and we'll see what happens on Saturday at Casper College. We talked with Nicholson and McCarty and they're excited to be playing in this weekend's All-Star game.
