Golf and Cross Country are rapidly approaching the end of their seasons.  Here is a look at results from those events.

Sheridan hosted a big golf event on the weekend.  East's Quintin Pope would shoot a 70 on both days to win the boy's medal.   Riverton Freshman Easton Paxton was 2nd but 9 strokes back.   East also won the boys team title.  Natrona won the girl's team title behind Caitlyn Skavdahl's first place finish.

At Star Valley,  two boys tied for the title.   Pinedale's Jordan Costello and Casey Winger of Lander both shot a two day 134.   For the girl's, Sydney Gunn of Cody ran away with the title.   Team champs were the Lander boys and Star Valley girls.

Other golf was held at Douglas.   Lusk's Denton Shaw held off Taylor Worman of Wright by a stroke to win.   Shaw went 72 and 81 for a 153.    Bailey Watt of Kelly Walsh won the girl's crown.   Team wise, the Wright boys and KW girls were champions.

Cross Country races were in Bell Fourche, Gillette, Wyoming Indian, Littleton CO, and the Tiger/Griz in Idaho Falls.

At Gillette, the Camels hosted the Wayne Cheney Memorial.  It was a big event with Junior High, JV and Varsity.    The Henry Brothers from Laramie were 1st and 2nd, Jonah first, Chris 2nd.  Ricky Faure of Rock Springs was third.    In the girl's race, Ashley Sondag of Natrona was first, edging out Cody's Anne Brinegar.   The Gillette girls won the team race as did the Laramie boys.

In Pocatello, Idaho, Star Valley finished 15th in the boy's side of the Tiger/Grizz Invite.  The Lady Braves were 17th.   Brave runner Cody Peck was 7th overall in the 30 team event.

In Ethete there was a small meet.  The Evanston boys put four in the top five and won going away.  Dillion Gilpin was first, just three seconds faster than teammate Draper Robinson.   On the girl's side, Wyoming Indian was first with Charlene Brown winning and teammate Auburn Bell second.
