Upton Sundance had it all together in their home game against Wheatland on Friday night. The Patriots put 26 points on the board in the first quarter thanks to 3 touchdown runs from Jayden Caylor, from 33, 38 and 21 yards. Sandwiched between that was a touchdown from Jess Claycomb of 3 yards so that was impressive opening stanza.

The 2nd quarter for Upton Sundance was just as impressive with 30 more points on the board. Claycomb had a 38-yard pick-six and caught a 15 yard Td pass. Jayden Caylor was having a career game with touchdowns 4 and 5, in just the first half so the Patriots led 56-0 at halftime

Caylor wasn’t finished as he scored his 6th Td of the game on an 80-yard kick-off return. Wow-what a game for that young man. Wheatland finally scored in the 4th quarter as Kade Preuit tossed a 55-yard touchdown pass to Jake Hicks. Upton Sundance improves to 2-0 with a 62-7 win over Wheatland. The Patriots will travel to Tongue River this week. Wheatland is 1-1 and the Bulldogs will have a road game at Glenrock on Friday.
