Upton-Sundance was looking for a bit of redemption after a loss to Big Horn last week and took out some frustrations on the Wright Panthers on Friday.  The Patriots scored once in every quarter of the game.  The special teams came through as the blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown thanks to Jayden Caylor. That play went for 44 yards so Upton-Sundance led 7-0

In the 2nd quarter, it was Caylor with a 3 yard run to the end zone so that made it 13-0 Patriots and that’s the way it stayed for the rest of the first half.  Moving to the 3rd quarter, Brad Kruger caught a 10-yard touchdown pass via Caylor and Kye Taylor.  The 2 point try was good so U.S. took a 21-0 lead. The Patriots put one more touchdown on the board as Brayden Bruce caught a TD pass from 1 yard out. The Upton-Sundance defense really played well, shutting down a Wright offense that has some talent. So the Patriots beat the Panthers 28-0 so U.S. gets to 5-1 on the year with a big road game at Southeast on Friday. Wright drops to 2-3 on the season and the Panthers will be at home this week to take on Lusk.
