Wyoming High School Golf Results: Aug. 20-24
The Wyoming High School golf season is one-third of the way to its completion after several tournaments took place during week two.
Douglas, Evanston, Pinedale, Sheridan, and Worland hosted events.
Here are the results we have so far:
Pinedale Golf Tournament, Aug. 20 & 21:
The Jackson ladies and Star Valley men rolled to the team titles in the small Pinedale Invitational. Jackson's Jacqueline Neishabouri dominated the field and won by 21 strokes. Star Valley's Jake Johnson need a playoff, but he captured the men's medalist honor.
Douglas Golf Tournament, Aug. 22 & 23:
The Douglas girls and Cheyenne Central boys won the team titles. Laramie’s Camryn Nagy fired a two-round total of 171 and took first in the ladies division by 20 strokes. Central’s Caden Cunningham and Laramie’s Jackson McClaren both shot 161 over the two days. McClaren won in a playoff.
Evanston Golf Tournament, Aug. 22 & 23:
At Purple Sage Golf Course, the Jackson girls and Star Valley boys took home team titles. On the ladies side, Jackson’s Jacqueline Neishabouri took the top honor with a total of 171. She captured first place by 10 strokes. Braxton Lind of Evanston was the boys’ medalist after a two-round total of 152. He won by 15 strokes.

Sheridan Golf Tournament, Aug. 22 & 23:
Thunder Basin's Maria Farnum and Kelly Walsh's Taj Sutherland were the medalists at the Sheridan Invite. Farnum won by eight strokes over teammate Karissa Tranas with a two-day total of 148. Sutherland shot 66 and 75 for a 141 total. He topped teammate Russell Spracher by five shots. The Bolts and Trojans won the girls' and boys' team crowns, respectively.
Sundance Golf Tournament, Aug. 22 & 23:
Tongue River's Sadie Koltiska and Nick Summers swept individual honors at the Sundance Invite. Koltiska fired a round of 98 and won by four strokes. Summers shot 78 for a seven-stroke victory. The Tongue River girls and Big Horn Boys won the team titles.
Worland Golf Tournament, Aug. 22 & 23:
Rachel Stoinski of Lander and Karsten Simmons of Worland won the Ed Cook Classic at the Green Hills Golf Course in Worland. Stoinski paced the ladies field with a two-day total of 164. She won by 18 strokes. Simmons fired a 142 for a one-shot victory. The Riverton girls and Lander boys captured the team titles.
