The high school golf season has just two weekends left in its regular season.

There are three venues hosting tournament action this weekend. Rawlins and Riverton are hosting two-day events Thursday and Friday, while Upton hosts a one-day on Friday.

Rawlins Golf Invite - Sept. 5 & 6

Katie Cobb of Cheyenne Central beat her teammate, Jennifer Gillotti, by one shot for individual medalist honors. The Central girls' won by 89 shots over Kelly Walsh in Rawlins.

Caden Jackson of Cheyenne Central posted an eight-shot victory at Rochelle Ranch Golf Course. Cheyenne Central's boys won by two shots over Laramie in a 12-team field.

Riverton Match Play - Sept. 5 & 6

There were six flights of golfers and each player played four 9-hole matches.

Russell Sprecher of Kelly Walsh won the Brooks Koepka A Flight bracket. Sam Young of Rock Springs took the Jordan Spieth B Flight bracket. The Tiger Woods C Flight bracket went to Oliver Orchard of Jackson. Dawson Reed of Gillette won the Justin Thomas D Flight bracket.

On the ladies side, Sophie Spiva of Natrona County won the Paula Creamer A Flight bracket, while Hanee Park of Rock Springs captured the Lexi Thompson bracket.

Cats and Dogs Invitational - Sept. 5 & 6

The Worland boys won the two-day event in Lovell and Thermopolis by 63 strokes. Individually, Mycah Wainscott of Powell won the girls' title by 29 shots. Thermopolis golfer Hardy Johnson posted an eight-stroke victory.

Upton Golf Invite - Sept. 6

Tongue River's Sadie Koltiska and Moorcroft's Caden Connally posted one-stroke and two-stroke victories, respectively to win the Bobcat Invite. The Tongue River girls and Big Horn boys won team titles.
