Wyoming High School Golf Week 3: Aug 24-29, 2020
It’s week three of the prep golf season in the Cowboy State.
This week’s biggest events are in Rock Springs and Torrington. Lovell and Thermopolis will be hosting a 2-day event at two different courses.

Laramie at Rawlins – Dual at Rochelle Ranch G.C.
The Plainsmen beat the Outlaws in the dual. Laramie's Jackson McClaren beat his teammate Titus Wookey by one stroke for individual honors.

Thursday, Aug. 27:
Rock Springs Invite at White Mountain G.C. – Evanston, Green River, Jackson, Kemmerer, Lyman, Pinedale, Riverton, Rock Springs, Star Valley
Riverton's Sierra Brubaker and Parker Paxton captured individual honors. The team crowns went to the Jackson girls and Riverton boys.
Sheridan Triangular at Kendrick G.C. – Campbell County, Sheridan, Thunder Basin
No results - play was cut short due to weather
Torrington Invite 1 at Cottonwood C.C. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Rawlins, Torrington, Wheatland
Laramie's Camryn Nagy and Central's Caden Cunningham won medalist honors. Central swept the team crowns.
Friday, Aug. 28:
Lovell Invite at Foster Gulch G.C. in Lovell – Cody, Lovell, Powell, Thermopolis, Worland - changed to a 1-day tournament
Lovell's Adessa Lundberg and Worland's Karsten Simmons win medalist honors. The Lovell girls and Worland boys won the team titles.
Moorcroft Invite at Keyhole G.C. at Pine Haven – Moorcroft, Sundance, Upton
Upton's Brooklyn Materi and Sundance's Dawson Flahaven won the medalist honors. Sundance swept the team crowns.
Fremont County Cup at Riverton C.C. – Lander, Riverton
Riverton won the match 11.5 to 1.5

Tongue River Invite – Big Horn, Sheridan JV, Tongue River, Wright
Nora Butler of Sheridan and Hayden Tellez of Big Horn took medalist honors. The Sheridan JV girls and Big Horn boys won the team titles.
Torrington Invite 2 at Cottonwood C.C. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Rawlins, Torrington, Wheatland
Sophie Spiva of Natrona County and Cheyenne East's Eli Cole won the tournament, individually. The Natrona Fillies and Cheyenne East Thunderbirds grabbed the team titles.
Saturday, Aug. 29:
Bobcat Invite at Thermopolis G.C. – Buffalo, Cody, Lovell, Powell, Thermopolis, Worland - changed to a 1-day invite
Lovell's Erika Cook and Worland's Karsten Simmons captured the medalist position. The Lovell girls and Worland boys won team crowns.
