The final tune-ups before next week’s state championships are taking place Thursday and Friday for indoor track teams in Wyoming.

Sheridan is hosting a meet in Gillette on Thursday, while Gillette hosts another on Friday. Laramie is also hosting one last meet on Friday.

Thursday, Feb. 27:

Sheridan Indoor Invitational (at Campbell County Rec Center in Gillette) – Campbell County, Lovell, Sheridan, Thunder Basin

Individual Double-Event Winners:

Kezley Yeager of Thunder Basin won the 55-meters and 400-meters.

Sheridan's Tim Brown swept the 800 and 1600-meter races.

Girls Team Scores: Thunder Basin 220, Sheridan 179.50, Campbell County 102.50, Lovell 37

Boys Team Scores: Sheridan 300.50, Thunder Basin 96, Lovell 89.50, Campbell County 63

Battle of the Big Horns hosted by Tongue River (at Campbell County Rec Center in Gillette) – Big Horn, Cody, Douglas, Tongue River, Worland

Alyssa Bedard from Rock Springs won the 55-meters and 55-meter hurdles.

Seth Hymas of Rock Springs won the 55-meter hurdles and the long jump.

Gillette will host the 2020 Wyoming Indoor Track State Championships on March 6 and 7.
