The Wyoming High School Golf State Championships are through their first day of action in Casper, Evanston, and Kemmerer.

2A State Golf at Fossil Island G.C. in Kemmerer

Upton's Brooklyn Materi leads the girls' division by shots. Thermopolis' Hardy Johnson carries a five-shot lead into the second day. The Sundance girls and Thermopolis boys lead the team standings by six and 11 strokes, respectively.

3A State Golf at Purple Sage G.C. in Evanston

Erika Cook from Lovell leads the girls' standings by one shot. Green River has a six-stroke lead in the team race.

Jaren Calkins of Lander leads by one shot. Worland has a commanding 23-shot lead in the team race.

4A State Golf at 3 Crowns G.C. in Casper

Sheridan's Samantha Spielman holds a one-shot advantage heading into the final round on Saturday. With a three-shot lead, Thunder Basin is on top of the girls' team standings.

Braxton Lind from Evanston holds a three-shot lead entering the last 18 holes. The Jackson Broncs lead the team race by 11-strokes.
