#1 Girls Doubles Tennis Championship [VIDEO]

The state tennis tournament concluded on Saturday in Gillette and in the #1 girls doubles championship match, Maddy Icenogle and Simona Wambeke of Cody took home the hardware for the 2nd straight year beating Cassadie Anderson and Sarah Foster of Cheyenne Central 6-0, 4-6 and 6-3. Both teams had some classic moments in a match full of enthusiasm. Icenogle and Wambeke prevailed in a tough 3rd set and came into the state tournament as the North regional champions.
