A year ago, Buffalo defeated Mountain View for the 2A state championship but this year it was the reverse. Mountain View running back Kimball Madsen was a one-man wrecking crew as the Buffaloes beat the Bison 24-14 on Friday in Laramie. Madsen recorded 3, 2nd quarter touchdowns en route to 244 yards rushing in the game on 25 carries. It looked dire for Buffalo trailing 21-0 until Rowen Ruby returned the 2nd half kick off 91 yards for a touchdown. He also a 20 yard run for a score and finished with 108 yards on the ground. It wasn't enough as Mountain View capped an undefeated season with a 24-14 win, handing the Bison their first loss of the season.
