The 2A volleyball tournament has been extremely competitive but Sundance roared into the finals, losing just one set in two matches. The Bulldogs asserted themselves and beat Rocky Mountain in the first 2A semi-final on Friday in Casper 25-21, 25-18 and 25-20. Rocky Mountain was coming off a huge upset of tournament favorite Pine Bluffs on Thursday but Sundance improved to 26-7 on the year with a victory on Friday. The Bulldogs won it all in 2017 and will face Wind River in the title match on Saturday. The Cougars are looking for their first state championship and will be playing in their first state title match ever in volleyball. Wind River and defending champion Wright had a thrilling 5 set match in the 2nd semi-final with the Cougars prevailing 25-23, 21-25, 23-25, 29-17 and 15-12, That was a tremendous match and we have a bit of video from both semi-finals to view.
