Boys Basketball: 4A and 3A Regional Tournaments and Results

While 2A and 1A will be playing for their state championships, 4A and 3A are just starting their post-season.

Class 4A East at Cheyenne East:

#1 Sheridan and #2 Gillette receive a first round bye and have already qualified for the state tournament.

Thursday, March 1st:

#4 Central 26 #5 Laramie 25 OT - Laramie Eliminated. Central qualifies for the state tournament!

#3 East 57 #6 South 47 - South Eliminated. East qualifies for the state tournament!

Friday, March 2nd:

Class 4A West at Riverton:

#1 Evanston and #2 Natrona receive a first-round bye, and have already qualified for the state tournament.

Thursday, March 1st:

#3 Riverton 55 #6 Rock Springs 43 - Rock Springs Eliminated. Riverton qualifies for the state tournament.

#4 Kelly Walsh 33 #5 Green River 18 - Green River Eliminated. Kelly Walsh qualifies for the state tournament.

Class 3A East at Newcastle:

Douglas wins 3-way tie-breaker vs. Glenrock and Newcastle for the #5 seed, due to going 3-1 vs. Glenrock (2-2) and Newcastle (1-3). Glenrock then has head-to-head sweep over Newcastle for #6 seed.
