Casper Nordic Ski Race Winner’s Remarks [VIDEO]

Jackson's Elijah Weenig is the defending state champion in nordic skiing (both classic and freestyle) and looked like a champion on the trail in the Friday portion of the Casper Invite. The senior looked comfortable out there and won in dominating fashion. On the girl's side, Kaylynn Sandall of Lander is the defending state champion in the classic and took 2nd in the freestyle section. She outdistanced last year's freestyle champion, Abigail Whitman, by a considerable margin. We caught up with both skiers after the race and needless to say, they were happy with their efforts
