In a defensive battle to the max, Lyman improved to 6-2 in the 2A ranks with a 6-0 road win over Rich County in Randolph, Utah over the weekend. Rich County is now 3-6 and has played 6 straight games against Wyoming opponents.

The Lyman defense which propelled them to the 2A state championship last season had 2 interceptions against Rich and held the Rebel running game to 113 yards on 44 carries.

The Eagles will wrap up the regular season with Cokeville on the road on Friday afternoon. Both teams were ranked in the top 5 in our WyoPreps poll and the winner of this contest will get the #2 seed in the 2A West and the loser will get the #3 seed. So there is a home playoff game up for grabs between these 2 squads.

Dell Barnes has provided us with some great photos from that game in Randolph and those can be found in our gallery below. Enjoy!
