The cross country season is moving along quickly and the Douglas Golf Club was the site of a 4 team meet over the weekend. The host Douglas Bearcats were joined by the Glenrock Herders, Torrington Blazers, and the Wright Panthers.

On the boy's side, the winner there was Ayden Loya from Torrington with a time of 17.27. His teammate Sully Wilson was 2nd in 18.25, Tanner Johnson was 3rd in 18.31, the 4th place finisher was John-Paul Dammeyer in 19.13 with Myles Wilson of Torrington 5th.

For the girls, Jaden Meyer of Douglas placed first in 22.15 with Kaycee Kasmicki from Torrington 2nd in 22.21. Amberly Froerer from Torrington was 3rd in 23.06, and her teammates Callie Taylor and Ada Merrigan were 4th and 5th with times of 23.22 and 23.31 respectively.

The State Cross Country Meet will be on October 22nd in Ethete. We do have a few photos to share from Douglas High School and Herder Pride. Enjoy!
