Final Day of Fan-Voted State Basketball Tournaments [POLLS]
It’s the last day of our fan-voted 2020 3A/4A state basketball tournament. There are three games left for both girls and boys.
There is a consolation game, third-place game, and a title game you can vote for with both genders and in both classes.
The 3A girls featured the closest vote we’ve had on Friday, as in a consolation vote, Newcastle edged Pinedale by just over one percent. The margin was 20 total votes. Rawlins also moved on in consolation voting. As for the semis, Douglas and Lander pulled through in the voting.
In the 4A girls voting, Cheyenne Central and Thunder Basin won the semifinal vote, while Kelly Walsh and Rock Springs earned the consolation vote. The Tigers slipped by Star Valley by just over two percent.
Worland and Lander won the Class 3A boys semifinal voting and advance. The consolation saw Buffalo and Wheatland move on.
Finally, in 4A boys, Cheyenne East and Sheridan received the majority of votes and advance to the final round of voting. Campbell County and Kelly Walsh got the consolation votes.
