Defending 2A state champion buffalo played at home on Friday night to meet the Glenrock Herders. Buffalo lost a lot of good guys from last years team and this year they’re still very good. Rowen Ruby open the scoring for the Bison with a 1-yard plunge to the end zone to make it 7-0 and the Buffalo exploded in the 2nd quarter. Mason Moon threw a 41-yard touchdown pass to Hyrum Hatch and then Rowen Ruby went wild. He had a 35 yard run for a touchdown, a 50-yard reception for a TD and a 27 yard run to the end zone. All in the 2ndquarter.

In the 3rd quarter, Mason Moon threw 2 more touchdown passes, one going to Taylor Swanston that covered 31 yards and another going to Dakota Lopez that went for 13.  By that time the Bison had a 49-0 lead.  Glenrock put a couple of touchdowns on the board in the 4th quarter as Jonah Young got in from the 2 and Dustin Simmons got in from the 6. Ben Camino ended the Buffalo scoring with a 9 yard run to the end zone. Buffalo beats Glenrock on Friday 56-14 so the Bison improve to 4-0. They’ll be at Moorcroft this week. Glenrock falls to 1-3 on the year and the Herders will travel to Burns on Friday.
