There is only one new team in the latest WyoPreps.com Coaches and Media Boys Basketball Poll.

Outside of some shuffling in two classes, there’s not a lot of change. The top two remain the same from last week’s poll.

The four top-ranked teams of Cheyenne Central, Worland, Rocky Mountain, and Saratoga remain there.

Big Horn is back in the 2A top five for the first time since the preseason rankings. The Rams sit at No. 5. Rocky Mountain is one vote shy of being a unanimous pick for the top spot in 2A. The Sundance Bulldogs are alone in second this week. Tongue River climbs a position to third. Big Piney drops from a tie for second down to fourth.

The only other change is two teams trading places in Class 1A. The Panthers received all but one first-place vote. Saratoga is followed by their rival, Encampment. The Tigers move up to second, which pushes Farson-Eden down to third. Remember, those three are all in the same quadrant and only two will get to go to the state tournament. Upton and Southeast remain in fourth and fifth, respectively.

There no changes in either 3A or 4A.

Worland’s on top in 3A followed by Lander, Powell, Rawlins, and Douglas.

4A has Cheyenne Central one vote shy of a unanimous pick for No. 1. After the Indians, it’s Sheridan, Cheyenne East, Thunder Basin, and Campbell County.
