One Change in the New WyoPreps Coaches and Media Softball Poll
Our second softball rankings of 2025 are not much different than last week’s first WyoPreps Coaches and Media Poll of the season. While a few teams did not play during Week 2, some schools started conference play. That led to the one change this week. Wheatland’s head-to-head victories over Laramie pushed the Bulldogs into the top five and knocked the Plainsmen out. Cheyenne East stayed at the top with 12 of the 21 first-place votes. Two other programs, Thunder Basin and Campbell County, also received votes for the top spot. The Bolts and Camels remained second and third. Wheatland jumped into the fourth position. Cheyenne Central held in the fifth spot.
