Two days of competition are on tap in Week 3 of the Wyoming prep indoor track season. Three total events will have high school student-athletes from the Cowboy State. Gillette and Laramie hold the two in-state track meets. The two high schools in the Razor City host a four-team quad meet on Thursday. Laramie has a larger field of 10 teams competing on Saturday.

The other indoor track meet is at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. They host the Stacy Dragila High School Open inside the ICCU Dome on a banked track. A few schools are opting for training only this week. Here is the schedule for the third week of indoor track. Schedules are subject to change.

CCHS/TBHS Quad in Gillette at the Campbell County Rec Center Fieldhouse

Team Attending: Campbell County, Kelly Walsh, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.

No SMR's or Girls 3200-meter races.

Girls Team Scores = Sheridan 163.5, Thunder Basin 155, Kelly Walsh 116, Campbell County 65.5

Boys Team Scores = Thunder Basin 187, Sheridan 170, Campbell County 97, Kelly Walsh 93

Taven Young from TB won the boys' 55-meter and 200-meter races. Sheridan's Matt Brown won the high jump and triple jump.

Laramie's Ava Wallhead won the 55 meters, 200 meters, and long jump.

East's Dayton Rhoades won the 55-meter dash and long jump, and the Thunderbirds won 3 of the 4 relays.

Stacy Dragila High School Open in Pocatello, ID: Field Events start at 9 a.m. and Track Events at 9:20 a.m. (rolling schedule)

Team Attending: Evanston, Mountain View, Rock Springs, Star Valley.

Mountain View's McKynly Stephens won the 3200 meters in 12:43.64. Star Valley's Abigail Carillo-Zarate won the shot put at 38-05.

The Mountain View boys won the 4x200-meter relay at 1:37.02 and the 4x400-meter relay in 3:35.09. Corbin Lake from MVHS won the 400 meters in 53.49 seconds.
