Wyoming High School Golf Tournaments: Aug. 29-30, 2019
The high school golf season is entering the middle-third of its 2019 season with action taking place Thursday and Friday across the state.
There are four tournaments teams will be attending over the next couple of days. Three of them are two-day invites. Those are in Buffalo, Lander, and Rock Springs. There is also a one-day golf tournament in Wright on Friday.
Results will be posted once they are received.
Buffalo Invite:
The Thunder Basin girls and Sheridan boys came out on top in Buffalo. Thunder Basin's Maria Farnum won her third tournament of the fall by beating teammate Karissa Tranas by 13 strokes. Thermopolis' Hardy Johnson won the tournament by 10 shots in the boys' field.

Terry Berg Invite in Lander:
The Jackson girls and Worland Boys won the 3rd annual Terry Berg Invite in Lander. Individually, Lander's Rachel Stoinski blew away the girls' field by 34 strokes, while on the boys' side, Lander's Dominic Yates won by 12 shots over a teammate.

1st day - Suspended due to lightning
Wright Invitational:
The Tongue River girls and Wright boys won last Friday's single-round Wright Fall Invite. The individual winners were a pair of Wright golfers on their home course. Vicky Van Vleet won the girls' division, while the boys' field was topped by Perry Benedict.
