The Campbell County softball team is off to a strong start and prevailed twice over Natrona in Casper on Monday, 11-9 and 12-6. The first game of this twinbill was certainly compelling, going back and forth. Campbell County scored twice in the 6th inning and once in the 7th after trailing 7-6 after 4 innings of play.

Isabella Halbrooks, Courtney Thayer, and Sam Torres drove in 2 runs apiece for the Camels, with Thayer going yard in the contest. Natrona's Marley Dickinson homered twice and drove in 4 runs, with Kyra Randolph contributing 2 RBIs. In the nightcap, Campbell County rallied with 8 runs in the top of the 5th as Bayley Gray went 2-4 with 2 runs scored and 3 runs batted in. Aubrey Hurst drove in 2 for Natrona as the Fillies are 2-4 on the year, and the Camels are 8-2. NC will host Sheridan on Friday while Campbell County tangles with Jackson.
