It's no surprise that Cokeville won the 1A state championship this year and its no surprise they did it in dominating fashion. The Panthers did not lose a set in either the regional or the state tournament en route to the 3rd consecutive state title. This team has an enormous collection of talent led by 3-time all-state selection Kamille Nate and 2-time all-state pick Emma Teichert. On top of that, Alisen Peterson made all state and Cydney Brown was named all-conference. Cokeville won their first-round match over Lingle in convincing fashion and had a little bit of a tougher time with Little Snake River in the semi-finals. Cokeville dominated Saratoga in the 1A final to secure their 8th championship since 2008. Nate, Teichert, and Peterson were seniors so those ladies will be hard to replace. Brown returns as a senior in 2020 so the cupboard won't be bare by any means.
