
2024 All-State Runners Honored by the Wyoming Coaches Association
The Wyoming Coaches Association unveiled the 60 runners who received all-state awards for the 2024 season. Per the WCA guidelines, each class's top 10 finishers, including ties, earned the honor. There is no voting for All-State.
Congratulations to Zena Tapia from Worland, Cheyenne Central’s Rian Cordell-Reiner, Burlington’s Howard McNiven, and Habtamu Wetzel of Star Valley. Those four runners achieved all-state for all four years of their prep careers. Six more runners earned all-state for the third time in high school. Twenty-two more got their second award.
Here are the 2024 student-athletes who collected all-state honors for high school cross country in Wyoming. They are listed alphabetically by the school and then by the last name.

The six state champions for the girls were Lyla Marney, Kinley Cooley, and Maggie Madsen. The boys' winners were Jadeth Elder, Trajn Swalstad, and Jase Burton. In the girls' division, team titles went to Tongue River, Cody, and Cheyenne Central. Wyoming Indian, Worland, and Star Valley captured the boys’ crowns.
