Laramie's Chris Henry won the Division 2 race. Albert Steiner and Jacob Morgan were in the top ten for Laramie, too. Laramie would win the Division 2 team title. Henry's time would have been fast enough to finish third in the Division 1 race.

Defending Boys 3A State Champ Brody Smith of Cody, along with last year's 4A Girls State Runner-Up Sydney Wendt of Gillette won the varsity races. All 7 of the Gillette girls team placed in the top 16, while the top 6 for the Kelly Walsh boys also placed in the top 16.
