More Movement in the WyoPreps Coaches and Media Volleyball Rankings
Each class shifted in the latest WyoPreps Coaches and Media Volleyball Poll for Week 3.
While the top-ranked teams are the same, there was one new team in the poll, and two teams re-entered the rankings.
Cokeville stayed at No. 1 in Class 1A with eight of the 12 first-place votes. The Panthers are followed by Upton and Little Snake River. Both of those teams got at least one first-place vote. Rock River was alone in fourth, and Southeast rejoined the top five in fifth.
Big Horn maintained the top spot in the 2A rankings. The Rams earned eight of the 11 first-place votes. Sundance moved up to second, which pushed Burns down to third. Greybull debuted in the rankings at No. 4. The Buffs also got a first-place vote. Tongue River fell one spot to fifth.
The top three were the same in Class 3A. Mountain View held the top position with seven first-place votes. Buffalo and Lyman stayed second and third, respectively. Powell jumped back in at fourth, and Douglas held onto fifth.
In Class 4A, Laramie received all but one first-place vote. That one went to Cody. The Plainsmen and Fillies are two of only three undefeated teams in the state. Campbell County climbed up two spots to third. Thunder Basin and Kelly Walsh came in at a tie for fourth.
